Does the IT Service Desk loan out webcams to students?

Yes! The IT Service Desk has USB webcams available for loan out to students. You may borrow the webcam on an at-need, one-time use basis, or you can check one out for the duration of the semester.
Our webcams require an available USB-A (standard USB connection) port. They require manual focus, but they are 1080p in resolution. They are compatible with all models of computer, and the Respondus Lockdown Browser, Google Meet, and Zoom.
In order to reserve a webcam, please contact the IT Service Desk at (309) 677-2964 or you can submit a ticket through the Support Portal by selecting Webcam Reservation from the request type drop down.
