How do I add a Kyocera printer to a Mac computer?

Before You Begin:


  • Computer must utilize an active wired connection or be connected to BUsecure to connect to printers on Bradley's network.
  • The computers must be Bradley-owned. Copiers cannot to be installed onto personally owned machines. If you have any questions, contact the service desk.

First, navigate to System Settings > Printers & Scanners > “Add Printer, Scanner, or Fax..”

A pop-up window will appear. Complete the following steps:


  1. Near the top of the next window, click on the “IP” tab.
  2. Enter the printer address: brd200mfp
  3. Select "Line Printer Daemon - LPD" from the Protocol dropdown menu
  4. Wait for the printer details to populate:
  5. Click the "Add" button

Follow the prompts to complete the installation.


Using a PIN number with the Kyocera Print Panel

    Open the Kyocera Print Panel application in one of three ways:

    1. Click on the Launchpad icon in the dock, then click on the Kyocera Print Panel application

    2. Open Finder > Applications > Kyocera Print Panel

    3. Click on the Spotlight icon in the menubar and type in Kyocera Print Panel and click to open the application.


    Select Your Printer: 

    If this is your only printer, it will be your only choice. If you have more than one printer, you will need to ensure you select the correct printer. Double-click on your printer.

    Input the user PIN:

    1. Select the Job category

    2. Toggle the box for Job Accounting

    3. Input the user PIN number

    4. Click on Apply.

    5. Click OK.
