Peoria Next Innovation Center 209/210 Quickstart

This guide will help you get started teaching in PNIC 209/210.

This space is controlled using the Crestron touch panel attached to the podium in Room 209.

In order to send a source to either or both of the projectors in the space, you tap the source in the bottom left and then either tap the projector associated with a specific room or "Send to All".

Each source in the list corresponds to a different input.


Instructor PC is the PC located in the podium.

Laptop HDMI is the HDMI on the podium, used for projecting your device's screen to the space.

Instructor Solstice (Pictured below) will bring up the Solstice Pod so that students and professors can connect and share video/images and audio from their personal devices.

Document Camera will bring up anything places on the doc cam on the podium.

Blu-Ray Player will bring up media in the blu-ray player in the podium.

Instructor Camera will bring up the camera mounted to the wall in Room 209.

Floor Camera will bring up the camera attached to the rolling boom (pictured below) in the corner of Room 209

In order to amplify your voice with the room speakers, there are 2 microphones available. You have the choice of the boundary mic on the podium, or the wireless headset mic located on the pullout keyboard tray.

Note: The boundary mic must be facing front toward the presenter for best amplification.

There is also a charger located in the drawer in the podium for charging the battery in the packs.

Note: please do not use consumer batteries in the wireless pack. If the battery packs don't charge, please contact the IT Service Desk and we will get it replaces as quickly as possible.
