You may notice a pre-installed app on your DCC iPad called Self-Service. This app is a curated app store with commonly-used apps on campus. The Self-Service app allow you to install apps that would normally require an Apple ID to install from the App Store.

1. On first opening the Self-Service App, you will see a screen similar to the image above. Tap on the circled arrow to continue.

2. You will then see a pop-up alert asking you to allow notifications. You can choose Allow or Don't Allow depending on your preference.

3. Upon answering the notification alert, you will then be presented with the main Self-Service store screen as shown below:

4. You can choose from 3 options from the main menu. All to see all of the applications, Standard Applications to see commonly used applications, or Digitally Connected Campus to see applications commonly used on campus.

Note: A number of apps included in Self-Service come pre-installed on your iPad by default and will have a Reinstall button next to them. You do not need to reinstall them unless the application does not work.

Those that are not currently installed will have the Install button.

In the example below, both Notability and Mersive Solstice are already installed.
