The speech capture system is always ready. The only thing required from you is a USB flash drive with available space.

          - Insert your flash drive into the USB port on the black control panel.

Once inserted, a small green LED will flash next to the port. Once it stops flashing, The system is ready to record.

          - Press the "RECORD" button at the top of the panel.

          - The "RECORD" but will turn red.

The mic and the camera are already active, so all you need to do is start your speech.

To stop recording:

          - Press the square "STOP" button.

          - The green LED will blink.

          - Once it stops blinking, you may remove your drive.

**DO NOT REMOVE THE USB DRIVE UNTIL THE GREEN LED STOPS BLINKING**

Your recording will be in a folder labeled with the room number, date and time. The recording is a .m4v file which can be uploaded and shared as needed, or just played locally on a computer from your flash drive.

Using the wall-mounted monitor

A monitor is available should you want to use a screen in conjunction with your speech.

           - Turn on the monitor with the remote or with the button at the bottom center surface of the unit.

A HDMI cable is connected to the monitor.

           - Plug in your laptop and send video out (per your machine).

           - A USB-C adapter is tethered to the cable, should you need it.

           - The monitor input should be on HDMI 1 to display video from the cable.
