Check your Browser
- Make sure you are using Chrome or Firefox. Safari and Edge will not work.
- Clear your browser cache (instructions can be found here)
Check your URL
- Check that the URL is learn.bradley.edu NOT bradley.instructor.com
Check your Browser Extensions
- Extensions designed to prevent pop-ups, scripting, or ads may interfere with launching Respondus and should be disabled
Uninstall and Reinstall Lockdown Browser
- Try uninstalling and reinstalling LDB (when reinstalling use the Bradley-specific link)
If you are still having issues, feel free to contact the IT Service Desk at (309) 677-2964.
If you run the Respondus Lockdown desktop app instead of through a browser, review the following:
Check your Application
For Mac:
- Go to your Applications folder in Finder.
- Look for Lockdown Browser.
- Open the application.
- If the application is downloaded onto your desktop, look for a Lockdown Browser icon with a shortcut arrow.
- If not, use the installer application to re-install Lockdown Browser to a location you can remember.
Close Interfering Applications
Respondus may display an error message saying it cannot run until a particular application is closed. Select "Close Application" to let Respondus automatically close whatever is interfering. After that, it should bring you to Canvas.
