Connecting to Bradley's WiFi using Linux

Note: These steps should be similar for various Linux distributions, but certain distributions may have difficulty connecting to BUsecure.

FWIW, connecting a Linux-based OS to the network is very similar to connecting an Android device (which makes sense, all things considered).

The fields should be filled out as follows:

Wi-Fi security: WPA & WPA2 Enterprise

Authentication: Protected EAP (PEAP)

Anonymous identity: leave blank

Domain: bradley.edu

CA certificate: leave blank

PEAP version: Automatic

Inner authentication: MSCHAPv2

Username: enter your Bradley username

Password: enter your Bradley password

If you still cannot connect, try entering your Bradley username in the Anonymous Identity field in addition to the Username field.

If that fails to resolve the issue, you may have driver-related problems. Loading drivers for Linux can be somewhat tedious, so we recommend that you come to the Service Desk for assistance.

NOTE: Linux is not an officially supported OS at Bradley University, therefore some of the Service Desk consultants may lack the knowledge to support your issues. If we are unable to help you, we recommend checking online resources such as the distro's community forums, Reddit, Stack Exchange, etc.
