Log in to learn.bradley.edu and navigate to Studio (found on the left-hand menu).
Click the "Create" button at the top of the screen.
Choose "Studio Capture"
Screen Record: Records your screen (great for presentations).
Webcam Capture: Records using your webcam.
Picture-in-Picture: Record your screen and video at the same time.
If prompted, download and install the Screen Recorder software.
Follow the on-screen instructions to start recording.
Once finished, click "Finish" and name your video.
Click "Save Media" to save the video to your Studio library.
We recommend recording longer videos to your device and then uploading the video file following the directions below.
If you recorded your video outside of Canvas Studio (e.g., on your phone or another camera), follow these steps to upload it:
- Log in to learn.bradley.edu and navigate to Studio (found on the left-hand menu).
Click the “Create” button (top right).
Select “Browse Files” or drag and drop your video file into the window.
Click "Upload" to upload the media to your account.
Wait for the video to upload and process. Once complete, the video will appear in your Studio Library.
Note: This is the recommended method of recording videos for assignments or discussions. This ensures that your content is not lost due to connectivity or browser bandwidth issues.
Navigate to your course and go to the Discussions section.
Click on the discussion topic where you need to post.
Click the “Reply” button.
In the text editor, click the Studio icon (looks like a play button).
Select your recorded or uploaded video from your Studio Library.
Click "Embed", then choose the embed size.
Wait for the video to appear in the text box.
Add any additional text to your post if needed.
Click "Post Reply" to submit your response.
Tips for Success
Ensure your video is fully processed before embedding.
If using a mobile device, record the video first, then upload it to Studio.
Use a strong internet connection to avoid upload issues.
