Garrett Center Auditorium Microphone Quickstart

You will find two types of microphones in Garrett Center

1. Wireless Handheld

2. Wireless Lapel/Lavalier

Note: Lapel microphone can be found in the drawer in the rack located in the back room, Stage Left

These microphones can only be used one at a time, because there is only one receiver in the rack

Powering on the Microphones

There is a switch located on the face of the Handheld and on the top of the Lapel to turn power on and off.

Note: The switches are marked with a Circle indicating off and a line and green light to indicate that they are on.

Changing the Batteries

Both microphones have battery compartments. The handheld mic has a section of the body, just below the power switch that screws off to reveal the batteries.

When you remove this section, you will see the batteries behind the retention clip.

Simply pull the bottom of the retention clip up to remove and replace the batteries.

There is a switch on the back of the Lapel bodypack, where you attach it to your body that you press down to open the batterycompartment.

Please be sure to turn off the mics and return them to the places they were found.
